D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Office Assistant for their Main Office Department. The right candidate will provide support with the daily activities of the office including filing, telephone coverage, and general clerical assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide support to Sr. Leadership and H.R.
- Collect data and necessary information from Sales Agents to meet strict deadlines.
- Update and distribute month end reports and weekly sales reports to DVP of Sales and Sr. Leadership.
- Track outstanding items.
- Order and distribute business cards as needed.
- Record meeting minutes and provide follow up notes.
- Organize and manage Sales calendar for staffing purposes.
- Communicate all deadlines and updates to Sales Agents.
- Office Receptionist
- Prepare for and help coordinate Sales Meetings
- Work closely with Sales Team and assist where needed
- Handle all Incoming and Outgoing mail.
- Book and tracks Business Travel
- Supply and track orders for field and office.
- Office upkeep
- Event Committee tasks as assigned
- Provide clerical support for H.R.
- Additional duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
