Key Responsibilities
Manage Compensation Function Manages a team of professionals responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the organizations compensation, benefit programs and corporate-wide budget for these programs. Oversees risk assessment and planning strategy and prioritization of initiatives. Provides guidance to the team, ensuring that objectives are met and all relevant standards/procedures are followed. Sets team strategy, goals and metrics. Collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives. Ensures operational problems are identified and resolved. Manages performance, motivates employees and provides coaching and feedback; oversees process improvement.
Program Management Develops, implements and manages PGE compensation and benefits programs. Collaborates with benefits team to ensure Total Rewards packages are in alignment and complimenting each other. Works cross-functionally with other departments to provide education and visibility on total rewards programs.
Financial Management Monitors and manages expenditures, ensuring that all financial targets are met, and examines any areas where budgets/expenditures vary from plan; assists with the definition and operation of effective financial controls and decision making.
Resourcing Oversees resourcing decisions and planning for team; partners with HR in the definition of jobs, recruitment, evaluation and selection processes.
Professional Development Reviews organizational development needs and training strategies to determine required learning and development outcomes for the team; provides guidance in the creation of development plans; monitors ongoing progress and provides coaching and mentoring and provides feedback; completes annual performance management reviews.
Education/Experience/Certifications
Education Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience.
Experience Typically eight or more years in related field.
Certifications, Licenses and Training PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Other HR certifications a plus (e.g., CEBS, CBP, CCP, AIRS, ATD).

Compensation Range:
$116,410.00 - $216,190.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
